Craft Brew Zone Information

Only familiar with beverages that come from St. Louis? Well, the Craft Brew Zone is for you! Taste the brews from 4 to 7 p.m. Many of the sampling brews will change everything you thought you knew and liked about beer! Once inside the Craft Brew Zone you will be free to exit and return, which you will want to do because all this good beer will make you hungry. Amazing food, including BBQ winners from earlier in the day, will be on site to quell your hunger.

You may also take advantage of the V.I.P. Craft Brew Zone Pass. You will gain access to additional V.I.P. exclusive brews and an extra hour in the Craft Brew Zone with entrance at 3 p.m.

  • Learn more about the brewing process and the beers.
  • Compare notes and favorites with your friends.
  • Receive a commemorative BrewBQ tasting glass – included with your admission, but supplies are limited – so get your ticket early!

Purchase Brew Tasting Passes

  • V.I.P. Craft Brew Zone Pass- $50
  • Craft Brew Zone Pass – $35 in advance and $40 the day of the event.

Entrance to Riverwalk Parks is free for all ages, but the Brew Tasting within the Craft Brew Zone requires a pass. Craft Brew Zone passes require the participant to be at least 21 years of age.

Important Information:

We want your BrewBQ Craft Brew Zone experience to be top notch and we need to adhere to all Iowa regulations regarding beer festivals. For this reasons, we must abide by the following policies.

  • Absolutely NO ONE under the age of 21 (no children) is permitted into the Craft Brew Zone tasting area. There are no exceptions.
  • Only Craft Brew Zone Pass holders, designated volunteers, and participating brewers are allowed into the Craft Brew Zone tasting area.
  • We DO NOT offer free or discounted designated driver passes at this time. These folks are welcome to all other areas of the event (including food and music areas) for free and Craft Brew Zone Pass holders may enter and exit the Craft Brew Zone tasting area at their leisure.
  • Remember: We love all things beer and BBQ and above all else – giving back. Our event is always focused on our designated charity. The more successful our Craft Brew Zone Pass sales, etc. the more we can give to a deserving organization. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at this year’s Independence BrewBQ!
